Chapter 3842 Promotion Ring

Chapter 3842 Promotion Ring

Chapter 3842 Advancement to Ten Rings

The wind whipped up yellow sand, carrying away the golden light emanating from Shad. By the time Shad stepped onto the battlefield, few remained to fight Mr. Snake in the center.

The power of the Doomsday Serpent of the Sixth Era has now swelled to an indescribable extent. It retains its human form, with thirteen rings of fate, each a different color, revolving around it. When faced with an onslaught, the intermittent bursts of light from the rings, the shields they form, and even the ring beasts they conjure up, already causing the ring sorcerers and witches considerable trouble.

The snake's current appearance is even more terrifying. To the naked eye, it still retains the image of a black-robed man with snake eyes and no nose, but when the returning Shad looked at it, he clearly felt that he was seeing a whole world of dim yellow light.

The Serpent of Doomsday has gradually transcended its materialized body and become "Doomsday" itself. This is a realm far beyond the imagination of the thirteenth-ring warlocks and even the demigod witches cannot reach.

Outside the battlefield, some people were still dealing with the ring beasts that kept emerging from the yellow sand. There were not many people left in the center of the battlefield. In addition to the three demigods and the nun, the four chosen ones—Balance, Space, Earth, and Light—were also present, but Emilia, the chosen one with the least seniority, had already left the battlefield.

Many of the Rings of Destiny had already shattered in the battle or melted away in the twilight of the apocalypse. Now, only Iluna and Sister Daphne remain among the three powerful beings with "Three Destinies".

Ellie, Luvia, and Daniste also appeared to have just returned from above the cliff. After reuniting with Adele in the present world, they were trying to return to the center of the battlefield with the help of Miss Eden, the [Sun Crest].

President Lenorman, who should have been at the association at the foot of the mountain, had somehow arrived here as well. He was protecting people as they retreated from the battlefield to the edge, while the unicorn herd in the sandstorm still tried to charge toward the center, but they were no longer of much use.

Sylvia's tower and ice castle appeared at the foot of the cliffs on the northern edge of the ruins battlefield, standing alongside the temple, gathering those who had left the battlefield. The Radiant Messenger flew above the castle and tower, occasionally firing a shot, but the ship girl's power could no longer inflict much damage on the Doomsday Serpent.

On the steps leading to the castle, many wounded thirteen-ring sorcerers from the Church of the Five Gods, having withdrawn from the battlefield, were discussing a plan to use three unknown-level relics to seal the snow mountain, the island, and the Fallen Star Bay, thus achieving a triple seal. They planned to devise another method after the seal was completed.

Inside the temple, Mr. Mortis, the "priest," and Mr. Zarathustra, along with Miss Paavo who was watching the spectacle, looked up at the murals.

The sixth mural originally depicted the seven core musicians of the "Great Symphony of Destiny," but now the content of the mural has been completely changed. In the picture, ten girls holding hands form a circle in the center of the square, surrounding three girls back to back in the center, and singing with them.

Of the thirteen girls, twelve are dressed in magnificent attire, but their faces are all blurred. In the background, silver stars are falling from towering cliffs.

This is the true sixth act, not about restoring the seal with the power of fate, but about calling for the fallen moon to rise again with song, and using song to help the fallen strangers find their way back to the past. The three candidates who remained in the temple could not see the specifics of this scene, but now, as the battle of fate was about to reach its final moment, they inexplicably understood the meaning of the sixth mural.

“What a perfect performance. The young lady did the right thing by giving up her candidacy to complete this scene. It is truly an honor for me, the clown, to be able to participate in this drama of fate in such an important role.”

The man wearing the clown mask was satisfied:

"That's enough for me. I'm giving up my right to leave the stage gracefully. That's the basic principle for a stage actor."

Old Master Zarathustra looked at the mural with a smile, his heart filled with joy:

"It's no wonder that the god of fate favors grand dramas. It seems I still have a long way to go as a fortune teller. I'll relinquish my qualifications as well."

After speaking, the two of them looked at the priest of the Order of Unity. With the death of the doomed believer and the abandonment of the other three, he was theoretically the only candidate. Even if Stella completed the new sixth act and obtained a die with a higher score, there was no possibility of her returning.

"Am I the only one left?"

The man holding the "Puppet Master's Script" is quite self-aware:

"The Order of Doom will likely suffer heavy losses tonight, but I think the followers of Doom should be very happy, after all, their god likes doom—well, in the seven acts of the story, besides the one who calls the god, there is another person who participated in the entire process, which speaks volumes."

Who would have thought that the actual chosen one would be the sixth of the five candidates?

The priest with the distinctive hairstyle chuckled self-deprecatingly.

"If I stand in the center of the stage now and prevent her from standing under the spotlight, I'm afraid something else might happen to me, like a meteorite falling from the sky or something more reasonable. Ms. Pavo of the Truth Society, is it possible that you would make a move against me?"

The sorceress was quite honest:

“If killing you would make the Summoner owe me a favor, I don’t think anyone would refuse. Moreover, it would also help the true chosen one, and from a fateful perspective, the other party would also owe me a favor. Of course, you still have to give me the Ring of Miracles before I kill you.”

"Just as I thought. Tonight's experience has been invaluable enough, and I've come to understand many things. So, I'll give up too."

The priest then glanced around again:

"I've given up, so please, fate, don't bother me anymore."

As he finished speaking—

Boom!Boom!Boom!

The distant chimes seemed to come from the distant past, followed by a long, piercing whistle that, though harsh, was like a sharp blade piercing through the yellow sand and twilight, dissecting this world polluted by the serpent of doomsday.

The three candidates who had withdrawn immediately became solemn and quickly walked with Miss Pavo towards the temple entrance to watch the ceremony. People at the edge of the battlefield also looked up at the center of the battlefield, and the demigods Violet, Adele, and Chloe, who were fighting, all showed smiles.

On the deck of the Radiant Messenger, the pointy-eared elf patted the little princess on the shoulder, reminding her to look towards the east of the battlefield.

Just as Ellie rushed into the center of the battlefield amidst the yellow sand, she was blasted away by a beam of black light. After letting out a whimper, she landed in the rolling yellow sand a kilometer away, rolled for dozens of meters, and was then helped up by someone.

A lone figure emerged from the yellow sands. The sky, a hazy yellow, held no sun or moon, yet he himself became the sun and moon fallen into the world. The blowing sand pierced the cracks in his eyes, and specks of golden light drifted away on the wind.

The "divine overflow" power resulting from absorbing divinity caused him to radiate a golden light that mortals could not look directly at. Although he had long since exited his divine state, in the eyes of Luvia, who had been taken aboard the deck by Miss Elizabeth, Shad was now closer to a god than ever before.

"His level of life has been elevated once again."

Shad took Ellie's hand, who looked aggrieved, and the cat jumped onto Shad's shoulder, meowing softly. Its mission for the night was complete, and now it could just wait for breakfast.

As Shad gazed at the Snake, who was besieging him atop the dune, the Snake looked back at him, or rather, the entire "apocalypse" was watching him.

The two were a thousand meters apart. The man with snake-like eyes and no nose nodded slightly, and then the light emanating from the thirteen rings of fate behind him condensed into one point and shot towards the dim yellow sky. The dim yellow sky was stirred into chaos, and then a bolt of black lightning, as if condensing all the power of this world, silently struck downwards.

With Mia on his right shoulder and Ellie in his left hand, Shad murmured to himself:

"Preparing for a promotion."

【clear. 】

"She" whispered in Shad's ear, as countless eyes turned to them, enveloped in a golden halo. Behind them, a massive life ring, as large as the sun, appeared in the steam and began to spin rapidly. As usual, no one thought that something so large was a life ring, but the girls who knew Shad clearly felt that it was larger and heavier than before.

The four-colored spirit runes resonated.

Miracle-World/Jealousy--

Golden runes detached from the ring and appeared to Shad's left. The ancient pages of the [Book of Time] opened, the rustling of pages drowning out the cat's meows, while the pages silently blocked the fatal blow from the dim sky.

Even after being struck by the black lightning, the book only shrank slightly. Then, the book was embraced by Sister Beren's phantom, and the golden figure hugged Shad with one hand.

The world has been changed because of you; no one can be jealous of your achievements.

Shad held Ellie's hand and continued forward. Directly ahead, rolling yellow sand condensed into the shape of a giant serpent, which opened its mouth, which contained a dim yellow light, toward Shad and Ellie.

Blasphemy - Fall -

The silvery-white spirit runes detached from the ring and appeared to Shad's right. The phantom of the God of Misfortune appeared, tossing dice. The dice fell and transformed into a pistol. The phantom pointed the gun at Shad, but then suddenly turned around and, amidst Ellie's small cheers, shot the giant snake away.

A fallen traveler rewrites the poem of destiny.

Endless yellow sand rolled in, as if the world itself wanted to obscure what lay ahead and make them lose their way here.

Inspiration - Ice and Snow White -

The brass-colored runes detached from the ring and appeared in front of Shad. Chloe and Winnie's phantoms appeared together. The real Witch Emperor in the distance was very pleased with this scene. Chloe's phantom embraced Shad, while Winnie's phantom transformed into a blizzard that moved in the opposite direction of the sandstorm, blowing away the obstacles in Shad's path.

Beneath its icy exterior lies a pure and passionate soul.

The snake abandoned the people fighting it and strode towards Shad. Iluna then transformed the Night Watchman into a crimson lightning spear and hurled it at the snake. The snake dodged it, and the lightning spear arrived in front of Shad, who then grasped the Night Watchman in his left hand.

Whisper-Sword--

The black iron-colored spirit runes detached from the ring and appeared behind Shad. The phantom of the demonic sword flew towards him and merged with the longsword he held in his right hand. Shad slashed forward with his sword, and the snake immediately stopped in its tracks.

The sword was originally made of ordinary iron, but it came to life because of the moon.
